Our community still relies on Homeboy Industries for vital services so we are adapting this year’s Homeboy 5K Run/Walk to be a virtual experience!
Stand with us by committing to 130 Acts of Hope, miles, minutes or any other measurable metric of a challenge that is authentic to you. Perhaps you commit to 130 minutes of running, yoga practice, or reading social justice literature. Whatever it is, get creative, share with friends and raise funds in support of the Homeboy 130 Challenge!
We may not be able to be physically together this year, but our collective energy, activity and hope will impact communities far and wide. Join us today and complete your challenge by September 19, 2020!

The Homeboy 130 Challenge is an ode to our address, 130 Bruno St. in Los Angeles, California. For many years, we have said of our downtown headquarters: Hope has an address. Amazingly, during this time, we’ve seen that same hope transcend our physical building and spread throughout L.A. Whether on virtual calls as volunteer therapists connect with our clients, during support groups meeting on conferencing apps, or through the stellar Homegirl Café & Catering teams pivoting the business to prepare and deliver meals to food-insecure seniors and youth throughout the city. Hope is still at work.
And we believe this same hope can be accessed and shared – even at a distance. Join us in creating and spreading hope throughout our community and around the world. Fundraise for Homeboy Industries and become a Homeboy 130 Challenger today!

For 32 years, Homeboy Industries has stood as a beacon of hope in Los Angeles to brave men and women seeking to transform their lives after gang-involvement and incarceration. Each year, we provide support to nearly 9,000 individuals by providing free services such as tattoo removal, mental health counseling, GED classes, legal services, and job training throughout our 9 social enterprise businesses. Above all, we provide space for our clients to heal from intergenerational cycles of violence in a community of radical compassion.
Proceeds from the Homeboy 130 Challenge directly support our daily work. Thank you for standing with us! Click here to learn more about Homeboy Industries.
